The Challenge
Focus on the Sign Up user flow for a dance app.

I started by researching Sign Up screens on popular apps as well as Dribbble and Behance designs, to understand what are the required assets. Across all boards, the option for quick sign ups through Google, Facebook and Apple is consistently seen.
I took this to sketch a lo-fi wireframes on paper. I did this so when I begin with pixels on Figma, I don't get distracted with the structure and layout of the screen.
I also noted areas where I did have room to play with, such as colors and graphics.
Furthermore, I wrote a one sentence description of the what the App can do, to keep focused on:
- why the app would be downloaded for :: to hub up all events, information, announcement, news, class information the dance community will need. Think a combination of Medium & Concrete Playground - but for dancers.
- what the app does :: It will curate a feed depending on the style of dance, classes and events the user attends. It will send notification to the user if there's any last minute changes to dance classes or events, as well as suggest new info they may not be aware of. Think FYP page - but for dancers.
- who the app is for :: for the dance community, dancers who live very busy lives between full time work or full time dance hours.
- how the app will communicate :: there will be a home feed, notification system, curation algorithm and a community board. The tone of voice will be very casual and young with lots of memes and jokes.
